My in-laws would always take my neice, Elora, here to feed the ducks. She moved to Coeur d'Alene this past spring. We picked her up this weekend and I am placing this box in honor of her and her favorite cousin, Emma, my daughter.
Going north on the I-15, take exit 118 and take a right. Go down Broadway and take a left onto Memorial Drive. Park in the center parking stalls, but don't park past B Street. Cross the street and you'll be next to the Snake River. Look for a water fountain and Thomas Cambell. Once you meet Thomas, start walking towards the American flag to your right. This is the memorial, "Lest We Forget". If you look across the river, you will see the dam and a Red Lion Hotel. Take a look at the names on the right of the memorial and look at the gun. Line yourself up with the barrell of the gun and sit yourself facing the river. If you look under the platform, there is a little knoock where the box is waiting for you. Please hide it well and make sure it doesn't go into the river. This is for my neice and daughter and I would like to bring them here later.
