Start at the UMA fitness trail located east of the Augusta Civic Center. The trail entrance is behind the tennis courts. Here you will find a large white trail map. When you get to the trail map go left. Walk untill you come to a pair of evenly spaced trees in the middle of a clearing, if you turn left you will see two metal bars. Keep walking on the farthest left trail. (This is the white arrow trail.) Keep walking untill you get to the top of the second hill. Go approximatley 25 paces. If you look to the right you should see a tree with the words 1/2 mile on it in blue lettering. Go approximately 17 paces. if you look to the left you should see a white birch tree, a pine tree, and a ritted trunk. Behind this clump is another tree. Look behind, dig a little, and you'll find your prize.
