In our effort to plant a letterbox in each of Oklahoma's counties, This box is planted in honor of this county's name...since "what the world needs now is Love, sweet Love!"

Take state highway 32 east off I-35 through the town of Marietta (might want to stop and buy some cookies!) After you cross the railroad tracks watch on your right for a street sign pointing toward Lakeview and Ridgeview Cemetaries. Turn right (south) and after about 3 blocks watch on your left for another sign pointing toward "cemetaries" and turn left (the road you've been on will dead end in this block, so you can't go too far if you miss the sign and have to go back); then the road will make a quick turn back south. Shortly you'll see the Lakeview Cemetary on your left, on top of a hill. Drive into the cemetary and straight ahead, toward the east end.
Turn right (south) on 8th, and drive to the center of the street (just past "62" and park near the 2 wind swept cedars standing on your right. Step up under the north side of the north cedar and find "love" hanging shoulder high against the trunk.

Note: I know there are various opinions about the appropriateness of planting boxes in cemetaries. We always treat the area with great respect and expect those looking for the boxes do also. Especially in small towns, the cemetaries are such interesting places to visit, that we feel this is a natural part of the letterboxing adventure!
