Monday October 9, 2006 was a tragic day in Toledo Rockets history.
Haris Charalambous of the men's basketball team collapsed nearby during the first few minutes of morning conditioning, just after 11 AM.
Many of the members of our sports medicine team acted with swift and heroic medical response.
Unfortunately, his condition proved fatal.
Haris later died at the hospital.

When I was driving into work the day after it happened I thought of placing this hide.
Since letterboxing began in Great Britain, and I thought that a Letterbox Hybrid cache would be a fitting way for my personal memorial to this British native.
I am normally a geocacher, but the idea of letterboxing has intruigued me.
I finally found the time to carve a stamp.
This is also listed on geocaching.com.

Please remember that Campus Police likes to pass out the $50 donation envelopes to persons who park in inappropriate areas, consider stopping by the visitor's center to get a day pass.
The visitors center is a large building near the corner of Dorr and Secor.

Please enter the University of Toledo campus from Bancroft Street at Towerview Blvd. East,
continue straight and cross the bridge over the Ottawa River,
turn left into the first parking before the tennis courts.
Go to the back right corner by the track, and walk between the woods and the track.
When you get to the southeast (back-left) turn of the track,
turn east and walk up the hill into the trees.
You will find a chest high stump with a southern facing opening in the bottom,
that is about 3/4 of the way up the hill.
The container is a large "loc -n- loc".

You should be fairly well hidden to stamp in.
Please email blackbrowndogathotmaildotcom if you have any questions, or if you'd just like to let me know that you found it.
