THIS BOX WAS LOST AND IS BEING REPLACED WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS BY A WONDERFUL LETTERBOXER WHO HAS DECIDED TO ADOPT MY MISSING LETTERBOXES ---BLESS HER LITTLE LETTERBOXIN HEART

This box is dedicated to the person who got us hooked on this whole adventure.

Her initials are B.McC.

The actress who has placed the Bedford Community Theatre boxes AND whom I got hooked on performing with a murder mystery dinner theatre group that I have been performing with for 11 years.

Since this is a box dedicated to "Firsts" -- it is named after the character B McC plays in her FIRST mystery show with our group --- Belle Towar.

The box is hidden in the place where we found our first letterbox. Turkey Hill Preserve in Yorktown Heights is also home to Trail of the Tired Raccoon.

When you see Peter Pratt's place on Rt 118, if you are coming from Rt 129 turn left into the preserve. If you are coming south on 118, turn right. Follow to the parking lot. FIRST turn toward the little signboard with roof over it that talks about the park. If you turn to the left as you face the sighn, you will see a tree with the FIRST sign that says POSTED on it. Directly in front of you and below the POSTED sign are the FIRST pile of rocks you come to.

About the middle you will see a flat reddish brown rock. It conceals the FIRST letterbox it has ever hidden. You can move the rock to see the box, but you have to reach around behind the pile to pull the box from its home.

The stamp inside represents B's favorite passtime during a show --- taking photographs of everyone and everything!

Once you have found that -- which is quite easy --- try your luck at following the story of the Tired Racoon.
