APRIL 14: I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THE STAMP IS MISSING OUT OF THIS BOX. I WILL TRY TO REPLACE IT SHORTLY, BUT IN THE MEANTIME, CONSIDER THIS BOX TEMPORARILY OUT OF COMMISSION! I'LL UPDATE AS SOON AS I REPLACE IT.

***This box is the first in a series of wildflower letterboxes. The stamp is handcarved.***

Kid friendly, stroller friendly, bike friendly and dog friendly!

Go to the place that honors the Vets,
From Santa Fe, it's in the opposite direction of where the sun sets.

From Littleton Blvd, it's the street that sounds like a running horse,
If you get to Broadway, turn around and get back on course.

Stand in front of the flagpole with your back to the farm,
then walk to the old tree that caused some alarm.

Head north toward the wooden bench--it's not very far.
When you get to the bench, turn right toward where some trees are.

Follow the sidewalk until you pass a three-trunked tree,
You're almost to where you want to be!

Go about 45 paces and look to your left,
there's a big tree that is leaning away from the west.

Look around the bottom and you'll find a hole,
Put your hand in and you have reached your goal!

NOTE: This is a very well-used path. Please be discreet about retrieving and replacing this box--there is a shrubby area nearby where you can go to stamp. Please make sure you replace box deep enough in the hole that it cannot be seen from the sidewalk.
