From Kingston travel on Route 28 West to Route 28A. Travel on Route 28A for approx. 2 miles. Make a left onto Dug Hill Road. Travel 1/2 mile to the town park on the right. (Past Collier Road and the town garage.) Depending on the time of the year, the field will be set up for either soccer or baseball. At the rear of the fields, there is a walking trail. The trail is about 3/4 mile long, one way. (Trail travels in a circle.) Near the start of the trail, you will find a small tree across the trail. Pass this. About 1/2 way around, you will find a 2nd tree across the trail. The tree is larger than the first. Stop here. In looking around, you will see, to the right of the trail, a large pile of rocks near a large ground hole approx. 10' wide x 20' long. This is the cellar and foundation to a house now long gone. On the nearer 20' side, you will see a tree with an adnormal growth near the base. This growth is hollow, and the letter box is inside covered by a stone. (There is no stamp pad in this box. Please bring your own). Happy Hunting.
