I have had several people attempt this box with no luck. It should have been an easy find so I am afraid it may be missing. I am hoping to get someone who has found it before to go back and check on it. Until then, I'll leave it listed on here.

This letterbox is located in Brooklyn Bridge Park, which is actually located under the Manhattan Bridge, in Brooklyn. You might want to get a good map of the area as it's a bit confusing. You can approach this park by walking down Washington St. or Pearl St. to John St. (which runs parallel to one side of the park).

After you enter the park, go to the curved iron-railed viewpoint of the East River. Go to the end of the railing that is closest to the Manhattan Bridge. Walk around railing and have a seat, facing the river, so your back is against the railing. Look down at your feet and you'll see a triangular stone next to a large boulder. Lift the stone for the letterbox! Please use discretion as this can be a very busy spot. Enjoy the view!

A fun way to get this box is to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan and then explore Dumbo (highly recommended)!
