Directions to Boyd's Corners Park in Jasper: Coming in to Jasper from Canisteo, you will take your first left hand turn past the high school. There will soon be a sign for the park on your right, (if you go up the hill and to the left you've gone to far.) Take that right hand turn and follow the signs to the park.
Terrain: Uphill and sometimes wet areas, but we managed it fine with a 3 year old.
Directions to letterbox: Drive past the little playground with the yellow slide, and park in the parking area. Walk uphill to the tree line and take the blazed trail up the hill into the woods. At the Y- go left. At the top, when the path veers right notice a wooden bench. Don't sit on it as it is no longer attached, and it tipped with us. Continue on this path until you meet the big flat 2 foot diameter rock at the left of the path. (If you pass a second bench you've gone to far). Stand on the rock, face directly north with the open field at your back, and take 18 paces towards the V in the trees. Your goal is in the tiny rock pile just left of the trees.
Return: You can continue on down the path or return the way you came, They are about equal distance.
