Start by getting to Albion via I-94. Take the eaton St exit and go south into Albion. At Erie St take a Left and go west on Erie till you reach reiger park. Go left into the park,(if you cross the river you went to far)and park on the side of the road. Now head towards the bank of the kalamazoo river. you should see a stone replica of the "forks" this is the 1st of two historical Markers for this river. Follow the river upstream till you come to the place where many Albion children got hot cocoa in the winter while they were learning to Ice Skate. Look towards the SW you should see a foot bridge over the river head that way. Before you cross the river look SW and you should see a flat area in the shape of an oval. It also has lights that are around it. This is a little known fact that in the 50's and 60's that area was the site of Albions Semi-Pro ice hockey team, long since disbanded. Now cross the river and sit on the bench to your right at the actual fork of the river. This is the reason for this towns existance. Now go back over the foot bridge and on your right there is a stone marker by the bank of the river. Go to it and face it. To your left if facing the marker is a "pine" type of tree/bush. I believe the tree has been trimmed so it is somewhere in it or around it
