Temporarily removed for the winter of 2013, will be replaced in the Spring.

Marion Park near Norway is a quiet area, shaded with tall pines, and Oaks with several picnic pavillions, a children's play area, a horseshoe court, baseball and soccer fields. Oak Crest Golf Course is also located in this area.

To find the letterbox travel on US -2 until you reach US -2 and US-8 in Norway. There is a Citgo gas station on the corner. Travelers from the East will turn left onto Highway 8, while travelers from the West will turn right onto Highway 8. Travel South to the entance to Marion park. You will pass the Dickinson County Fairgrounds and Speedway on your left and a Viking Ship and tennis courts on your right. At one mile will be a big brown wooden sign for Oak Crest Golf Course. Turn right at the sign. This is the entrance to Marion park. On your left will be 2 old CCC cabins, now being used by the Boy Scouts. On the right are two picnic pavillions. Park in this area. Walk on the two lane paved road until you see an Octagon Pavillion on your right. On the left is a small grassy area with several picnic tables and a narrow paved path. Begin to walk on the small paved path (picnic table are now on your right). Continue on the paved path, passing a short snowmobile trail with a stop sign on your right. The path continues along through the White Pines and Oaks. Watch for wildlife, a variety of birds will also accompany you. Continuing along you will come to a grassy worn path on your right. There is a slight uphill climb. At the top of the hill, there is a small grassy clearing and the path splits, take the grassier path to the left. Go to the top of the hill (unfortunately, you will see some part of cars that have been dumped along the path). Start down the hill, there will be an oak and Pine tree on your right. Half way down the incline on your left, is a fallen log. Seek the dragonfly near the fallen log. If you reach the fallen tree blocking the path you have gone too far.
After stamping and replacing the box, take the grassy path back to the paved path. You may retrace your steps back to the picnic/parking area or you may continue along the paved path which comes out at the entrance to the golf course.
