As of 7/13/08, the logbook (which was very full) has some new pages for more visitors and another special surprise.

This box is located in Bridgeview Park; a beautiful place to stop and rest after making the trek across the Mackinac Bridge. With nice, clean bathrooms, a dog run, maps, picnic tables and a lovely view of the Bridge and the Straits, it will leave you ready to explore the Upper Peninsula.
Just west of I-75, off US-2, is Boulevard Drive. Go south and the drive ends at the park.

To find “Straits Celebration,” go to the northern part of the park and look for a grey power box next to the directional sign. Go 42 steps (21 paces) at 330 degrees. Below your feet should be an old concrete slab; next to the concrete slab is a downed tree. Under that, you’ll find something to celebrate! As always, please be discreet and rehide the box well! Thanks - BT
