From highway 92 take the Alameda exit. Take Alameda (de las pulgas) south. Once you pass over a small hill, go a few more block until you see a parking lot on your right hand side. If you reach 28th avenue you've gone too far.
Enter the parking lot and park here. Explore the parking lot until you find a sign with an arrow that says "Public Entrance." (hint: on the opposite side of the lot from where the phone booth is.)
The arrow on the sign points left. Instead, go right up the stairs. Follow the cement path until you get to the corner of the tennis courts. Take about 10 steps forward and look to the right on the ground.
You'll see 2 green rectangles in the dirt. (I think they're for irrigation or something like that.) Close to these is a green circle.
Buried under the leaves in this green circle will be the letterbox
*EDIT 6/17/2010* This letterbox was moved or destroyed during some park remodeling. I'm planning on replacing it soon in another location in or around Beresford Park.
