!!!this stamp was recarved and the letterbox located in a new location!!!!
directions: traveling east or west bound on I-86, take exit 28. head south to register rock park, about 2 miles from the exit.
""this is a day use fee park. please support the parks for all.""
once in the park check out the register rock. some of the names and dates are hard to see. but they are there. can you imagine the times back then???
clue: from the register rock, find the rock with the "preacher and indian" on it. from this rock, face approx. 170 deg. and walk to the multi trunked juniper tree. turn to approx. 60 deg. and walk approx. 110 steps until you come to a 4 trunked tree. Turn south and find " Barbara Crosland". Facing "Barbara", walk approx 16 steps southwest along the fence and you will find the "register rock" letterbox under the sage brush.
always remember this is snake country and beware.
hope you enjoy this letterbox and the park it is in.
