Hello,
This box was thought up, the stamp carved and the box placed by my 6y/o. It is practically handicap accessable, if you have someone withyou to make the short (4 foot) trek off the path to the box, you coulddo this in a wheel chair or other wheeled type scooter.

Across from the Tri-city Plaza, go between the Mobil Station and the Auto shop in the old trolly house. You will see the sign for the Willand Pond Rec Area, follow the dirt road untill you meet up with the parking area. There is space for about 10-12 autos.

Once parked, look for an orange gate. Pass just to the right of the gate and the left of a really old (?) fire hydrant. In the 1800's this was a recreation area to increase ridership of the trolly on the weekends. Follow the path to the right when you see the 2 1/2 foot
high, circular rock wall (formerly a flower planter, in front of theno-longer-existing 'casino'). Keep on this path as it makes its way along behind the businesses along High Street and the pond on your left. When you reach an area with picnic tables (popular fishing area) bear to the right and pass between two large boulders and continue along the path. when you Start to go down toward the wate you will pass between two sizeable standing, dead pine trees that are immediately across from one another on the path's edge, get close to the one on the left with the notch cut out at the base. Walk straight 10 adult steps to the next smaller pine tree close to the path. turn to facing the pond and the box is under some decaying wood wrapped in camo fabric.

Before the floods of May 2006, this was a trail connecting to the Dover side of the pond, near Strafford Farms.
