**For the First Finder, This Letterbox contains a friendly visitor, please pass it on***

Equipment Needed: ink pad, bug spray
Difficulty: Easy
Time 30 minutes

Driving Directions:

From I-77 , exit Rt 82. Head East on Rt 82 and cross over Rt 21 (Brecksville rd). Start down the hill and you will see the park entrance on the right which is called Chippewa Creek Dr. Turn down Chippewa Creek drive and travel about 1/4 mile and you will see parking lots and just past the parking lot on the right is a sign for the Nature center, park in the lot by the Nature Center sign.

CLUES:

Look for the Park map ,for this trip the "Hemlock" will lead the way. Start at the map and travel on the paved path past the restrooms to the NAture Center. When you reach the Nature center , take the path around it to the left , go past the little stage and down the steps to the bottom. Skip a few rocks in the creek as you cross the small wooden bridge. Again the "Hemlock" will lead the way, take the steps to the left and when you reach the top take a rest on the bench on your right. You will see that the path splits there, folow the "Hemlock" again to the left and cross over another small wooden bridge. Follow the trail and eventually you will come to an opening to a large field. STOP! Turn around and look back the way you came from. You will see a sign that says "Sensitive Natural Area" , walk to the sign and STOP! Now take approximately 30 steps (you are travelling back towards where you first began the hunt) you should see a very large tree on the left side of the trail (very near the trail). This tree has a backdoor that is covered with sticks. Your box lies there!

Please stamp the log book and your own book!

Thanks for Letterboxing with "The Pirates"
