Take Rt3 from Trenton heading toward Bar Harbor. After you cross over onto Mount Desert Island, you will come to a traffic light at the junction of Routes 102 and 198. Route 3 bears to the left. Continue on Route 3 for about three miles. Take a left off Route 3 onto Hadley Point road, you will see the Llangolan Inn on the corner. Follow Hadley Point road all the way to the end. You will drive directly onto the point.
Walk
Park you car and follow the small road off to the right. You will see a picnic table there under the tree walk by it to the beach. Start walking along the beach towards Bar Harbor. Look for the large rock jutting out of the sand just below the high tide line. Walk 6 ½ paces forward from the rock and look at 1 pm under the first tree in the rocks you will find what you are looking for.
