Lake Forest Park is a nice little park in Henderson, Tx. Where children love to play, fish and have birthday parties. There is a carousel there but is not in working order. As a little girl growing up, I had the pleasure of riding the Carousel, which we called the Merry Go Round. I loved all the colors of the horses, especially the ones that went up and down. This is a whimsical little stamp that brings back fond memories. Enjoy!
Directions: From the star in Henderson take Hwy 64 west. You will come to the intersection of hwy 64 and Hwy 323. Continue west through the light and begin to look for Lake Forest park. It’s the first left past the light. There is a lake, gazebo, and fishing pier.
To the box: As you enter the park, turn left and take the road around to the back part of the park. You can park along the right side of the road. After parking, You will see a “horseshoe” drive. Stand by the first wooden post on the right. There is a tree behind it with a #6 on it. Face the woods and walk across the road where the is a trail going into the woods. From the large pine tree at the head of the trail, take about 14 steps and look right. There is a fallen log about 11 steps off the path. On the right is a large pine tree that the log is up against. Behind this tree on the other side of the log you will find the box.
Please close all bags and seal container. Let me know the status of this box.
Don’t forget to look for Catching Any? While you are in the park.
