Please be sure to take an ink pad with you. We could not find any locally to put in the box. ______________________________________________
Take I-40 East out of Asheville. Take the Montreat exit, Exit 64 and take a left at the light onto Highway 9. Continue north on Highway 9 through Black Mountain. You'll know you've reached your destination when you come to the rock gate that marks the entrance to Montreat. Continue straight through the gate and Highway 9 will turn into Assembly Drive.
Stay on Assembly Drive, passing a softball field, tennis courts, and a playground on your right.
1. Stand across Assembly Drive from 317 Assembly Drive, "The President's House.
2. Turn around to your left.
3. Look for a four-trunked tree with a sparkly, triangle-shaped rock at the base.
4. The Rock Box is behind the triangle-shaped rock.
