Hungry Mother State Park was built in the 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corps. There are many trails here. The trail you want to take is the Powder House Trail. As you enter the Park pass the Burson campground and look for the Parking area on the right. Follow the signs to the trail. You will cross three bridges to get the the letterbox. The first is made of metal. The second is very close to the first. The third is made of wood and hides the letterbox. Carefully look under the far end near the upstream edge.
