Walk over to the sign across the street from the Cordova, AK airport which shows the way to the town of Cordova and to Child's Glacier. About 8 feet to the right of the sign, search behind the tree closest to the sign for The Hummingbird letterbox. This box was placed in honor of my trip to Cordova in 2001 when my brother, father and I stayed at the McKinley Lake cabin. We saw a pair of hummingbirds perched on the railing of the deck as well as many darting by us while hiking.
