WHITE LIZARD
This letterbox was placed by Kodi’s friends Frog and Ocypete.
Frog has been wanting his own letterbox for almost a year now, so when his sister went away to camp we came up with this one.
It’s as easy as counting from 1 to 9 to find Frog’s missing lizard.
If you draw a line from Kodi’s friend Ocypete’s “Hungry Tree” letterbox through his friend Silver’s “Purple Penguin” letterbox and beyond, you’ll come out
1 block from an island on which sits a monument marking the furthest inland point reached in the British invasion of the northern colonies during the Revolutionary War. Then, “go west
2 3 young man,” Kodi said to Frog. From where you came out, it is
4 blocks to Paradise. Turn right. Continue on until you are between a NO TRUCKS sign attached to the back of a STOP sign and Phila. Elec. Co. pole #98855. Then continue on about
5 6 paces. Follow the narrow path to the left until you reach the railroad tracks. You will see 2 concrete blocks. The gap between them is directly across from a railroad tie. Count
7 8 ties, going East. Take
9 steps at 320*. Frog’s lizard is hiding under the sticks behind a young tree with 2 trunks. Be careful not to scare him away. Please rebuild his house after your visit.
(This box does not contain an inkpad. Please bring your own.)
