I've been running in Delaware Park since I first moved to Buffalo in the early 1980's, so it seemed like the perfect place to plant a box. So put on your sneakers, and get out there. And while you there, why not run/walk a lap or two? It's 1.8 miles around the Ring Road.

Begin at the snack shack, Delaware Meadows by name.
If you remember the Juicery, they're one and the same.
Proceed around the road where no cars may pass.
You'll be getting some exercise, and saving on gas.
Now watch for the lamp post marked 7 6 4.
Once you have found it, you need search no more.
Make a sharp left, there'll be be bleachers in sight.
Ingore the ones on the left, choose the ones on the right.
Sit facing the goal posts, the highway as well.
Beneath the third step, on the far left, I dwell!
