My dad was born, spent the majority of his life, and died in the same small town in Western Oklahoma. Dad loved fishing. He was one of those people who caught fish when no one else could. Throughout my life, we spent many evenings’ together fishing. Its funny how so little can be said and there be such togetherness. As long as I can remember, we fished at Oney Dock. This letterbox is placed here in memory of my dad, Thomas Harlin Edwards (1928 – 2004).

Clues:
Start in Albert, Oklahoma. Proceed west, out of town, 3 miles to the stop sign. Turn left and head south for 1 mile. For reference, you should see a white Methodist in the SE corner of this intersection. Turn right heading west. CAUTION: This road has a history of becoming very sandy and difficult to drive. Please take this into account when driving. If it looks too deep, trust me (and my shovel) it’s too deep. Follow this road until it ends. You will see Oney Dock in front of you. Go to the beginning of the walkway to continue your quest. This is also a good time to get out your compass.

From the walkway, head 70° for 25 paces. At 130°, you will see the remainder of a fallen tree. It is in the hollowed out base of this fallen tree under the brush.
