Being from Salem, MA, we just had to plant a box here although we are not really into the whole which thing.
LOCATION: At the Witch's Hat Tower in Prospect Park
DIFFICULTY: Easy
TERRAIN: Paved or trail
TIME: 10 minutes.
STAMP: Handcarved
THE CLUES:
The Whitch's Hat Tower is located in Prospect Park on University Avenue, fairly close to the Minneapolis, St. Paul line.
Go to the base of the Witch's Hat Tower, which is the highest point in Minneapolis. Go to the door which would enter the tower with the MWW on top. Walk West along the paved path around the tower till you get to the stairway on the South side of the tower.
Down the stairs and to the T on the path. Look to the right and you will see a wooden fence. Go to the corner of the wooden fence, which is basically the closeset point of the fence to you. Take 10 steps South along the fence.
Look over the fence and you will see some rotted out railroad ties making a corner. Look at the end and under the long railroad tie which is at the corner. Not just under the rock, but under the tie.
You will find the micro box tin. Please bring a small baggy if it has rained recently because these tins are not the best waterproof containers but MAN they hide well.
