Take Hwy 38 west from Red River, NM toward Questa, NM. You will drive 0.12 miles when you see the Fawn Lakes sign on the left. Park at the Fawn Lakes parking area.
Take the cement pathway. Go over the wooden bridge and continue on the cement path. You will soon see the lake. On the right side of the path, there is a metal rectangular drain cover. From the drain cover, take the PEBBLED path 30 paces.
To the right, between two pine trees is a tree with 2 beaver-chewed stumps at the base. On the backside of the tree you will find the box under some rocks and a log. Please rehide well.
