if you go to lake francis you will find two shady camp sights just after the ranger station on the left. numbers 18 and 19. and in between the two sights you will see two trees grown together as one. in the crotch of these two trees you will find the letter box. i think they are black cherries. i have put in my stamp. there is a pad of paper and pencil and my e-mail address. this is my thoughtful spot. enjoy the day, listen for loons, maybe go "moose hunting". i haven't caught a fryable fish in the nine years i have been going up there. i haven't given up yet either. hope springs eternal. i was up the week of august 1st. and made sure it was double wrapped and intact. learned it was distroyed by angry chipmunks earlier.
