this box is missing---will recarve and replant soon

This was Idaho's home of the Japanese-American during World War II. They were told to live here by their government, because of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. During the time from 1942 till 1945, 10,000 Japanese-Americans lived here. All thats left is some stone walls and foundations from a few buildings.

Traveling east or west on Interstate 84, take Twinfalls-Sunvalley exit #173 to highway 93. Travel north until you come to highway 25 at blinking yellow light. Turn right on highway 25 traveling east towards Eden-Hazelton towns. From light, travel for 9.2 miles until you come to historical sign for Hunt site. Take Hunt road north for 2.5 miles coming to the Hunt site. Park in the parking lot.
You will see the remains of a guard shack and waiting room for visitors to the site. There is a plaque describing the layout of the site when it was active.
From the plaque, face the canal. Take a bearing of 60 degrees and in a pile of rocks is the prize.
please be careful. This IS SNAKE country.
