Well it looks like, thanks to some help from non-letterboxers, that Marshall Squareface, Molly Delight and the Busy Tugboat, have been wisked away. Will attempt to recreate them & find another date spot for them. Thank you to all who found them! (Maybe they decided to get married & are on their honeymoon!!) Thank you!

Location: Langus Riverfront Park, Everett
Long Easy Walk, fun for family (Bring Bikes or wagon & snacks)
Number of boxes: 3

We join our handsome bachelor, Marshall Squareface, on his search for true love.
Marshall has traveled the world over and now, unknowingly, is so close to finding what he has been searching for.

Upon entering the park, pull into the first parking area at the north end of the park.
Follow the paved path noticing the benches along the way. Look for an older wood bench on a hill in a small patch of trees & bushes.
Take a seat and talk with Marshall awhile. At the base of the bush next to the bench, you’ll find our handsome bachelor. Assure him that love is not far and soon he will be happy.

Bid Marshall a fond farewell and walk on down the path.
You’ll come to the restrooms, (good idea to stop & rest as the remainder of the walk is long).

Keep walking past the boat launch and along a path of picnic tables. Watch the river and maybe catch a glimpse of boats or a rowing team practicing. Just as you see a large building where the rowing team boats are kept, there is a grove of evergreen trees on your left up on a hill. Some singles, twins and triplets. At the base of a Triplet tree (nearest the river) you’ll find what Marshall has been looking for.

Bring the two hearts together in your book and wish them a lifetime of happiness.

What is the name of Marshall Squareface’s true love?

Now you’ll want to know where Marshall and his love went on their first date.
Keep walking down the path. (This is the longest part of the walk, a mile round trip or so we think)

As you’re walking under the I-5 bridges look up at the columns and notice the mud nests of the sparrows. Take a listen to them chirping and watch them skim the river.

The paved trail follows the river in gentle curves. After a ways you’ll see where the river “Y” is and the trail curve to the left. Just before the curve you’ll see a bench on the right side with a large rock not far from it. Under the north side of this rock you’ll see what Marshall and his love watched on their first date!

Thank you for bringing two very special people together and may you’re lives be fulfilled!

Marshall Squareface and his true love are handmade stamps, created and named by my daughter at the age of 6 years old. (She is 7 now and won’t let me forget it.)

The third stamp was handmade by me. (the momma)

Best time to find these is now until the start of soccer season. Will try to keep track of them during the season to make sure they don’t sprout legs!

Thank you,
