***This box is reported missing. I will not be replacing it***
Originally planted by WyldBlueberries and adopted in January 2011 by Dartmoor Dreamer. (Logbook and container replaced January 2012)

American hobos of the late 19th and early 20th centuries communicated important information about a locale with chalk drawings on buildings, sidewalks, fences and railroad trestles. We will periodically celebrate this imaginative tradition by placing a Hobo Sign box at a railroad-related site.

Compass required: No
Walk required: Driveby
Difficulty: easy

This urban box is located beside a parking lot near the Lake Superior Railroad Museum in Downtown Duluth.

Directions to Parking Lot
- From I-35, exit on 5th Ave W and head West.
- Turn right on Michigan Street.
- Turn right again on 4th Ave W.
- This street will dead end into a parking lot with a train parked in it. There is a sign that says “scenic railroad parking”. Park in this lot.

Directions to box:
- On the north end of this parking lot is an overpass/bridge, with a fenced area on the left.
- Go to this fenced area, which has shrubs in it. The box is placed under a piece of concrete at the base of a shrub in the front left of this area (as you face it from the parking lot).
