This letterbox is located at a Southbound I-75 Rest Area (http://www.michigan.gov/mdot/0,1607,7-151-9621_11041_21800_21802_22729-63911--,00.html)
This is the second box in a series of boxes to be placed along I-75 in Michigan. This rest area is located near Mile Marker 158. Park near the restrooms.
Update (10/15/2006): Checked out the box today. Replaced the logbook as it was full with a new one.

Where to Start
=============
Look for the sign that talks about the American Legion Memorial Highway. At this sign you will find out what “DIRECTION” is. Read the sign. Remember N is North, S is South, E is East, and W is West.
To find out what “DIRECTION” equals look under 1919-1969. The first letter of the middle word, represents your “DIRECTION”.

The Clues

Thirty or hungry? Even if your not you should head to the nearest place to quench your thirst or satisfy your hunger. Don’t worry, even if it’s raining you won’t get wet while your getting your drink or snack.
In between this place and a place to make a call you will find a sign that tells you what is not allowed. Proceed to it.
You look across the road and you see a similar sign that says what is not allowed but one of the words is different. Proceed to this sign.
From this sign, you will see a place to cook something, and then further on you will see something that blocks you from going any further. Walk to the corner of that something. Several pine trees are located near this point.
Facing “DIRECTION” at the corner of the something, walk “DIRECTION” until you come to a tree close to the fence. This one is not a pine but it is where you will find #2.
Make sure to re-hide well with leaves and branches. Hope you enjoyed your adventure.
