About the Area:
Located in a secluded area of central NH, Bradford Bog affords the rewards of silence and solitude in addition to an up-close view of one of the state’s northernmost Atlantic white cedar swamps. A boardwalk leads through swamp out to open peatland.

Although many unique plants grow here the one that I think of the most is the Blueberries I found growing along the board walk on the last section hence the stamp. The fruit begins to ripen in July.

Warnings: Buggy New England. Watch out for wet or broken boards or you will end up with wet feet. Other than that easy walk once you find the place.

Directions:
From the lights in Hillsboro(149 goes south here) turn up School street. Continue on this road for about 9 miles past Fox Forest and Hillsboro Center and along a nice country road, after making a sharp right, around 9 miles, bear right at the Y going to the right side of a church like building, continue down this road for about a half mile. It turns to dirt. The Bradford bog kiosk is hard to see and is on the right. There is room to park on the right side of the road after the kiosk. There is a dirt drive/road on left across from the Bog trail head/ parking.

The Clues:
Walk the board walk and enjoy the woods of the bog. Stop when you come to a left turn and see a foot path that continues straight. Look behind the mossy log the lays on the right side of the trail. After checking in continue on the boards into the bog to enjoy the blue berries, birds and usual bog plants. There is a viewing tower at the end.

I had to replace the log book in this box because it was totally soaked. Please let me know if this happens again. The last finders noted in there entry the box was very wet yet did nothing about it and did not contact me. Plus they left the box very exposed. So all in all Please be considerate and help fix the problems not ignore them.
Thank you.

Hope you enjoyed your walk,
Re-Hide The Box Well !! :)
