From Canton, NY, take Rt. 68 toward Ogdensburg. Just outside of Canton, locate the Grass River Fishing Access Site. There are two picnic tables there and a boat launch. Go past the second picnic table on your left. Locate the beaver trail and follow it to the right toward the water's edge. At the base of a small tree to your right is the box.
