This box was planted for my mother's third child by her second.

Start at the Hiawatha Trail near Tomahawk WI.

While on our recent trip around Lake Michigan, we came across a familiar land and planted a box. Although you will no longer see many of the past tracks that were here, you will find a modern path. Starting at its trailhead, follow the path beyond the initial left turn along the straight-and-narrow. Go above the blue below, go past the sign of many options, and go by the large boulder to cross the peril beyond. Just prior (south) of the right-hand curve, you will find a grassy trail on your right. Walk 10 paces off the main path until you are even with a stop sign. Continue along a 100 degree heading for 24 more paces and then turn to 190 degrees for an additional 17 paces. You will find your goal inside a knee-high stump.
