5/3/2007 THIS LETTER BOX HAS BEEN STOLEN SINCE THE LAST FINDER. MY OLDER SON AND I ARE VERY DISSAPOINTED. THIS AREA ALSO HAS COOPERHEAD AND RATTLESNAKES NOW SO THIS BOX IS NOT GOING TO BE REPLACED.
This Letter box is dedicated to my older son who LOVES to fish and to the rest of the family. This box is at OLD KERSVILLE LAKE.

Take I-40 from Greensboro to Winston-Salem. Then take Buisness 40 to Kernersville/Walkertown. Pass the first exit and take the SECOND EXIT called South Main Eixt. Turn right at the light and get in the left hand side of the road and drive to the next sto light. (EXXON is going to be on your left). Go through that light and pass Hardee's and Zoe's turn into the left hand turning lane and turn onto CHerry Street. Pass Holy Cross Catholic Church (on your left), keep driving you are going to pass two more brick churches on you right. Once you see United Methodist Church on your right you need to have the signal light on to turn left onto Oakhurst Street (a big parking lot should be on your right at this time).

Once you turn left onto Oak hurst drive past the Baptist Church (on your left). Look for the streets to you left immediatly after the Baptist Church labeled Lake Drive/Moutain Street. Turn left there.

As soon as you take that road bear right and stay on Lake Drive through a residential area. At the end turn left...you'll still be on Lake Drive. You should see 2 signes that are yellow CHILD AT PLAY and 25 mile/hr sign.

The number on the houses should be up in the 700's and 800's.

Keep going down this road - it is a dead end street. Go all the way to the end. You ahsould see a white picket fence and to your left is going to be OLD KERSVILLE LAKE.

Park in the parking lot.

Find the small fishing dock and the bench sit on the bench a while and feed the ducks and the geese so old bread they just love it. You could even fish while you are there if you'd like.

Take a look at the dock. Do you see the big tree to the right..walk to that tree. Stand beside the tree (the tree should be by your right shoulder). Becareful this tree has many roots. Now bend down and look under the right hand side of that dock. There is the FISH that you have been seeking.

Let me know when you find this box.
