BOX IS CONFIRMED MISSING

From Cave City take Highway 31W toward Munfordville. (About 15 minutes from Cave City). Cross the General Simon Boulivar Buckner Memorial Bridge over the Green River. Take the first left by the Citgo station to Themla Stovall Park. Follow the pavement until it ends past all the picnic shelters. Walk until the pavement ends and the grass begins. Walk towards the supports for bridge. Walk to the center of the two supports and continue to the treeline approximatly 200 yards past the posts. When you reach the treeline turn around to make sure you are dead center behind the two posts. Inside the treeline you should see an old concrete building like an old pump station. Look down to find a fairly large rock just at the base of the treeline. The rock is about 20 inches long. There is your treaure a bit behind and under the stone. Before you leave check Big Buffalo Crossing Canoe Livery. There was a famous Civil War Battle here for the old L&N Railroad bridge lead by General Simon Buckner that passed over where you are standing. You can see the old posts of the L&N Bridge at the canoe launch point.
