When we arrived on location, I realized that I'd left the actual *box* at home. So I placed the stamp and log book inside their plastic bags at the location. I'll be returning to add the box itself in a few days, when the heat isn't so oppressive.

We love Dr. Seuss (doesn't everybody?), and "Dr. Seuss's ABC" is an old standby around our house. "Q" is my favorite, hence the name of this letterbox.

Start at the school named for the twin bodies of water named for a local Indian dialect. Park in any of the far lots and follow the gravel path to the water. A river runs through it. Well, maybe a creek, depending on the season. Follow the trail alongside it. Before the trail ends at a T intersection, there is a smaller gravel path to the left. Head down a few feet to the boulders. The Quackeroo is tucked behind the flat, chipped boulder. Please re-hide this one discreetly and carefully, since this is a very high-traffic area.
