Pick up the book ‘The Little Red Hen’, a Little Golden Book Classic with pictures by J.P. Miller if possible.
The hen seeks help from a cat, a pig and who else?
KVMF VO OCZ NFVOZ KVMF DI XJGPHWDV’N XJNHJ KVMF. OVFZ OCZ WZVM XMZZF OMVDG PIODG DO XJHZN OJ V HVEJM DIOZMNZXODJI VO V XGZVMDIB.
Go left with a golf course on the left. As you pass under electrical lines count off 72 paces. This should put you with a large bush on your left and an orange marker and trail on your right. Take the trail. It should open up fairly quickly into what is obviously and old single lane gravel road. This can be rough walking and goes down a pretty decent hill, which you’ll be coming back up on the return trip. Take this old lane down the hill to the bottom. I believe you’ll pass one intersection, but keep on the main trail to the bottom. At the bottom you’ll be at the entrance to an old quarry. Before entering, find the large boulder on your trail. Standing on it go 240º 6 paces to a similar boulder. Search behind it under a stash of rocks to find our scarlet heroine.
