Go to J.F. Gregory Park. (Off GA-144/Ford on Cedar Street)

Follow signs for the Wetlands Education Center, parking at the Information Pavilion referring to Coastal Georgia Greenway. You'll see a sign for the Fitness and Nature Trail.

Follow the trail to the Observation Deck. Walk past the Observation Deck about 120 eight-year-old steps (that's me). Look to the right of the trail, their is a six legged octopus standing on its head there disguised as a tree. There is a hollow in one of the "legs" that I can easily reach. In the hollow you'll find little chick, she is protected by her small nest of bark and sticks. Please put her and her nest back when you are done with her.

Beware of Alligators and Snakes!
