THIS BOX IS NO LONGER ACTIVE AT THIS TIME 8/1/08
Because of Some confusion --- only follow Luna's directions to the THEATRE do NOT start where her box is hidden and then try to figure out where Dark Shadows rests -- it wont work and you'll drive all over creation --
the first part of her directions will take you to the theatre where the mockingbirds roosted - staying on Main Street which becomes Bedford center Rd.
THEN you should be able to find the "bone" quite easily.
Follow Luna's directions - come on take a chance
Where the Mockingbirds roosted and the muses danced
Follow straight on -- you're on your own
1.2 miles and turn right at the "Bone"
Turn to the right and slowly creep
Til you come to the entrance where the people sleep
To make sure you've used your great old noggin
You;ll see a stone - Is it Sherlock and Robin???
53 paces from the white posts you'll see
Anna and Ellen and old Henry C
Who rest behind the bent forked tree
Turn right at the tree - find ol John Chardeayne
This should be easy -- his name is plain.
1877 is when he died - look right to the ferns
The box is inside
AS A PERSON WHO IS CLOSELY ASSOCIATED WITH THE PRESERVATION OF THIS HISTORIC SITE, PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE AREA. THERE HAS BEEN SOME VANDALISM LATELY WHICH SADDENS ME. ALSO BE RESPECTFUL OF THE ENERGIES THAT EXIST THERE AS WELL.
