Pleasant Run Graveyard is a wonderful old place and very well maintained and pretty isolated. You’ll find it on County Rd. 250 E just south of County Rd. 400 S, that’s in the southeast quadrant of Rush County near New Salem. There’s a wide spot to park, but you’ll have to walk up the road a little way to open the gate and get in. Be sure to re-chain the gates the way you found them. There’s also a narrow space to squeeze through at the southwest corner. The box is in the southeast where there is an old tree that has an old fence growing through it. Jesse is there and so is Elizabeth who died in 1859. The box is in a hole in the tree. Be sure to cover it up so the guy who does such a good job mowing the lawn can’t see it.
