Background: This is a short course developed by the 2005-2006 Loganville Elementary 3rd graders. This course is a result of them learning about forests of Wisconsin and how to use a compass made possible by a grant through the Wisconsin Environmental Education Board.

How to get there: This course is at the Loganville Village Park just north of Loganville on the east side of Highway 23. Look for the ballpark!

What to bring: You will need a compass and a tree identification book might come in handy, also.

Clues:
Start at home plate. Go south from home plate to the tree that will hopefully shade you on a beautiful hot summer night while watching a game on the bleachers. Hope it doesn't get cut down because this tree can make great baseball bats.

From the ash tree, take 94 steps north at 20 degrees. You should be at the 2nd "tree of life," also called the cedar.

Take 105 steps 60 degrees northeast across the grass, go by two trees and by the stream you will find a place to rest.

Take a 220 degree angle and go to the first maple tree. Then take 140 heel-to-toe steps at 20 degrees to the silver maple tree with gray bark and letters are carved into it.

Take 74 steps at 320 degrees to the basswood tree, which are also called linden trees.

Take 31 steps at 320 degrees to the last silver maple in its row.

Once you are at the tree, go west at 170 degrees and go 40 steps to the bridge. Then look forward at the rocks, under the rocks you will find our box!
