Level of Difficulty: Easy, well defined trail
Time: 20 minutes round-trip

Directions:

The Pooch was planted in Kinns Road Park on Kinns Rd. in Clifton Park, NY. This park is a dog friendly park so watch out for freely rooming dogs. Take I-87 North to Exit 10. Take a left off the exit. Take your 1st left onto Pierce Road and drive until you reach a stop sign (.8 miles). Take a right onto Kinns Road and the park is 1.5 miles on the left. There is a blue wooden Kinns Road Park sign next to the entrance.

Clues:

Once in the parking lot, face the houses and you will see a trail to your far left. A light pole with 9-4 on it marks the beginning of the trail. Take this trail pass the wooden map and continue to travel straight. You will pass many houses on you right side. You will come to a bend in the trail and there will be a Clifton Park Animal Control sign with red writing on your right, continue to stay on the trail. You will see various trails leading off this trail, but just stay straight. You will come to a “Y” in the trail, veer right towards a blue water tower that you can partially see though the trees. Take 47 paces to another “Y” in the trail. There will be a pine tree marking its spilt and the water tower will be on your right. With your back facing the water tower and your right hand on the pine tree, take 15 paces straight to a large double-trunk pine tree. Behind this tree buried in pine needles and branches, you will find the Pooch. To get back, return to the trail, travel the way you came, and take your first trail on the right all the way back to the parking lot.

*This was our first plant. I hope you enjoy it!
