Cadillac Ranch, founded by Stanley Marsh III in 1974, is located along the old Route 66. Cadillacs from 1949-1963 are buried nose first into the ground. They face west and are placed in the ground at the same angle as the Cheops' pyramids. (information obtained from roadsideamerica.com)

Be sure to bring your permanent marker or spray paint--you are ALLOWED (can you believe it?!) to graffiti the cars.

PLEASE be careful when looking for this box. We do have rattlesnakes in our area, so look carefully first. This is a microbox. Have fun on your search.

CLUES: Cadillac Ranch is along I-40 (south side)just west of Amarillo, TX. You will need to be on the access road by the highway to park at the box's location. As I approach the rising Cadillacs, I look to the west. I count ten cars back. I think I will leave my mark on that one. As I spray paint my nick name on the car, my mother is "decorating" another car with her name. I think to myself, I am going to have to be sneaky when I hide this box-there is a tour bus full of people coming to look at the sculptures. I see a huge dust devil forming in the empty wheat field where the cadillacs are buried. I kneel down and place the box by the control arm of the car, on the ground. It is behind some wild plants that are growing up against the car. I cover with rocks and think how exciting it will be for the next person to find it.
