Rotary Gardens is a beautiful place in the heart of Janesville just off the ice age trail. It is a place where many artists, photographers, and people come to gain inspiration or find some peace. The box is hidden in a rather public area of the garden please be discrete when finding and replacing the box. Just hope a wedding party is not taking a picture near the box. When found act like you are writing in your journal and you will do fine.

Enter the garden near the main building. Pass under the three steel serpents and onto the brick path of names. Follow this path till you reach a grassy courtyard with a big stone pond on the south end. Stop and admire the fishes, they are BIG. (I have even seen one in the lake surrounding the garden in 2004) Walk north to the fountain in the main lake and stand along the shore. From here follow the waters edge easterly to the High Arched Red Bridge. DO NOT cross the bridge. From the bridge follow the laughter of falling water to its highest point. Cross over the stream on a stone bridge and Continue along a path surrounded by white trees to a bench Dedicated by the Christoferson family, overlooking the dry sea. Have a seat and place your letterboxing gearbag next to you on your right side. The item you seek in right under your gearbag.

If you are finding this box in late fall please hide extremely well. This box will get iced in over the winter and remain inaccessible till the spring thaw.

I am having trouble with my login. So if there are problems please do not replay to placer. I visit the gardens often in the summer and will keep a good eye on my first letterbox.
