Discover Adams County
A tribute to one of the fastest growing counties in Colorado.
Find Adams County Regional Park...I've included directions and a description for those of you who aren't already familiar with the area.
9755 Henderson RoadBrighton, CO 80601
1 mile West of US 85 on 124th Avenue to Henderson
Picnic, golf, trails, fishing, Nature Preserve, South Platte Trail, rental facilities, volleyball, outdoor concert, rodeo arena, indoor arena, restrooms.
**Please note once you turn onto 124th Ave. You will come to a stop sign, go straight and almost immediately on your right, you will see a turn into the south side of the park. The official entrance is up the road a little further, along with the playground, facilities and picnic areas. It's a nice area to relax and enjoy so, brown bagging it may be an option for you!?
Once parked, head east on the greyish, unpaved trail. Shortly, and I mean shortly you will see a brown picnic table. There are three small pine trees, in front of the pine trees are three boulders. The LB (altoid box) is located under the rock closest to the pond on the southeast side. I must apologize in advance for the crudeness of my design, it's almost cavewomanlike!? This is my first LB placed. Thus I wanted to make it easy on myself and on you by making it simple and a drive by no less!! I hope you enjoy this discovery, like I do.
Hand carved stamp and logbook only!!!
First Finder Prize!!
Please take consideration when rehiding the box, using the rocks and bark to rehide it.
The park is pet friendly (leashes a must), handicap accessible, kid friendly (playground), bread friendly (our feathered friends outside of the nature preserve), biker and runner friendly, etc....
Thanks and keep LBing.
