This letterbox is located along the Lake-to-Lake Trail system, near Sammamish high School and Kelsey Creek Park. It is easy to drive to and easy to find.
Driving directions are from Interstate-405 that goes through Bellevue. Take the NE 8th St exit and head east. Turn right onto 140th Ave NE. Turn right onto SE 3rd Place - directly across the street from the Sammamish High School gymnasium. At the bottom of this dead-end street is a cul-de-sac. Park directly at the bottom, being careful not to block any driveways or the street. Here is a section of the Lake-to Lake trail that leads to Kelsey Creek Park. Head down the gravel trail and the stairs. To your right is a HUGE garden! The letterbox is on public trail land, but with permission of the garden owner (my Mom - a letterboxing fan herself!). At the end of the Arborvitae shrub row you'll find the letterbox. It's at the top of the second set of stairs (not counting the one single step by the drain). Standing facing downhill, look under the right side of the first step to find what you're looking for!
