This letterbox is temporary pulled. It will be replaced in mid February 2007. Thanks!!
Take Hwy 64 East towards Tyler, after the second light the entrance to Lake Forest Park will be on your left. There will be tennis courts and a playground on your left, and the lake will be on your right. Right before you get to the swimming pool you will come to two parking areas, park in either one of these.
Walk past the white star towards the pretend ponies galloping in a cirle. There is a very tall pine tree right next to the chain link fence, the letterbox is buried under pine needles and brush between the fence and the tree.
This is my eight year old and eleven year old daughters' first attempt at letterboxing, please email us and let us know what you thought of it and if it is still there. Also be sure to rehide it really well as this is a very heavy traffic area.
Happy Letterboxing!!
