Update 11/21/07 - there's been some major changes in the park and I haven't been able to get to the park to update the clues.
**Some hills are steep so small children might have some difficulty**
From I-695 take Harford Road (Parkville-South) exit, turn Left onto Texas Avenue, enter the park at the end of Texas. PET FRIENDLY PARK!!! Also, this is a very popular park for families, teenagers, bikers, please be very careful--voices carry long distances!
Box 1: Park in the lot at the entrance. Walk down the steps, turn right and follow the asphalt path past the "Rocks Pavillion" at the fork, step carefully or you'll be taking a bath. Once on the other side, follow the path straight up the hill to the double blue blaze and turn Left, continue until just before going down hill. Take a Right at the fork onto the Red Blaze Trail. At the next blaze, look to your Right in a hollowed tree 40 steps into the woods for treaure #1.
Box 2: Continue from the path which follows the fencing on the yellow blaze trail. Just before going down hill there are four trees with a red fish spray painted (two on each side of the path which makes a square). There are other fish markings but you are looking for the square. Turn right after the second pair of fish and walk approximately 40 steps into woods. At the base of the tree with the wart, you will find treasure #2.
****Box 3: 1-28-07 CONFIRMED MISSING I will replace shortly and put into a safer location. Park maintenance has been removing dead trees. Also, paintballers have taken over the section where this box was located.****
