Park in the east parking lot near the Arboretum signs.
"RANCHO"
Go on the main path into the Gardens and Arboretum. Continue straight at the fork and look up the hill to your left behind the white building. You should see some stairs. Climb up and find a nice picnic spot. Have some lunch. Sit on Frances Judd Holcomb's seat and look to your left to see a natural clock. From the clock, head ENE into the trees and veer right to keep that rock pile on your left. Hug the rocks til you come to a little pool with a green drain pipe at your feet. Look to your left, down low under a red rock.
"SAN"
Return up to your picnic spot and find the path headed west through the gardens. Keep the cobble stone bridge on your left, and pass a skunkbush on your right. Take the next right thru a Water Birch Arch and over a stream. Take your next right, then veer right and have a seat in front of a Red Chokeberry. Phew!
Continue on past one arbor on your right and take the next arbor right into Kristin's Garden. Meander thru til you can fly left into Songbird Garden. Keep strolling til you hit the main path. Cross into the Xeriscape area and find your prize between a Japanese trunk and the water, under a rock bower.
"RAFAEL"
Keep going til you hit the paved path and go left. Take next left toward Honey's Garden and left thru the bridge. Sit on the middle bench. Take a load off. Now walk up the grassy hill straight in front of you, take the rightmost fork. In the top of the rock wall on your left, between two trees and hidden by a pinecone is Rafael.
Have fun and be sure to explore the rest of the park for letterboxes.
